Historically held in the last quarter of the year, our AGM has been a dual event - comprising the usual AGM business and also an awareness raising and training opportunity for our members/delegates. This could be the launch of a policy paper, project or workshops, speakers and panel discussions.
We aim to keep these days as informal as possible and encourage participation as much as possible.
In 2009 our 'Scaling up the Sector' event incorporating our AGM was held on Thurday 17th September at the Teacher Building in Glasgow. The presentations are available to download below

PREVIOUS AGM INFORMATION
2008 AGM In 2008 our AGM was used to launch our Acquiring Business for Good project, a pioneering initiative, supported by the Big Lottery Fund in Scotland, which could offer an alternative route to developing new Social Firms. The aim of the project, which started in January 2009 for 3.5 years, is to support more people who are currently excluded from the labour market into employment, by acquiring businesses and converting them to Social Firms. We were delighted that Jim Mather MSP, Minister for Enterprise, Energy and Tourism, was able to attend to formally launch the project.
