Social Firms aim to recruit 25% of their employees as severely disadvantaged in the labour market. Social Firms Scotland can provide information and support with key aspects of employment to help you to achieve your social mission. These include: - Support to identify your social mission
- Support to explore the potential for employment creation in your Social Firm
- Support with Social Screening - exploring the environment of your potential business to see if it will be supportive, inclusive and empowering
- Information and support about developing a supportive, inclusive and empowering work environment, including:
- Support to implement an Employment Plan and develop an Employment Strategy to help Social Firms employ at least 25% of their employees as severely disadvantaged
- Job analysis, recruitment and selection processes
- Information and support to access and develop in work support - Information and support to implement appropriate policies and procedures to reflect good employment practice - Support to carry out skills audits and develop training needs analysis - Benchmarking salaries - Signposting to good employment practice accreditations e.g. Investors in People, Mental Health at Work - Information and signposting to advice about HR processes - Organisational reviews and organisational capacity assessments - Support to involve service users, trainees and employees in the development of your Social Firm
